In short: At Royal Legacy an enclosed single-vehicle transport costs €1.75 to €3.00 per kilometre net, depending on the package. The minimum price is €300 to €500 net. Tolls, ferries and tunnels are extra.
What the price depends on
The distance accounts for the largest share. We charge the driving distance from the collection address to the destination at a fixed rate per kilometre. Four other things influence the price:
- Enclosed or open. In an enclosed trailer your car travels protected from weather, stone chips and onlookers. That takes more effort than an open transporter.
- Single or shared transport. In a single-vehicle transport one car carries the whole trip. Shared transports split the costs between several cars, but involve reloading and intermediate stops.
- Scope of service. Photo documentation, a light detail, battery management or a white-glove handover are included in our larger packages.
- Date and place. Deliveries outside normal hours or to hotels, yachts and airports are available as an additional service.

All rates are net plus 19% VAT. A minimum price applies per order: €300 for Royal Standard, €400 for Royal Signature and €500 for Royal Heritage, each net.
Three worked examples
- 150 km with Royal Standard: 150 × €1.75 comes to €262.50. That is below the minimum price, so €300 net (€357 gross) is charged.
- 600 km with Royal Signature: 600 × €2.25 comes to €1,350 net (€1,606.50 gross).
- 1,200 km with Royal Heritage: 1,200 × €3.00 comes to €3,600 net (€4,284 gross). For more than 700 km per day an overnight stay is added.

What may come on top
- Tolls, ferries, tunnels: at actual cost plus a handling fee of 15%.
- Overnight stay: for distances over 700 km per day, also at actual cost.
- Waiting time: if we wait more than 60 minutes beyond the agreed time, we charge €85 net per hour or part thereof, unless the delay is on our side.
- Additional services: such as delivery to a hotel or yacht, collection at a private jet terminal, night delivery or a non-disclosure agreement, price on request.
Insurance: what the price covers and what it does not
As a carrier we are liable under the statutory rules. This liability is, however, limited per kilogram and often covers only part of the value of a valuable car. For the full value we recommend separate transport insurance, which we can arrange, or including the transport in your own comprehensive or collector’s policy. Settle this before collection.
How to get an accurate quote
- Give us the model, collection and destination address and your preferred date.
- State the ground clearance and anything special, such as a car that does not run.
- Tell us whether there are narrow passages or height restrictions on the access route.
- Plan the outward and return trip together if your car is going to an event and back.
